Cookie Policy
Last Updated: July 30, 2026
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites function, improve efficiency, and provide information to site operators. This Cookie Policy explains how drlidiaverhoeven.com (the "Platform"), operated by BlankCanvas OÜ, uses cookies and similar technologies.
We do not use advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not share cookie data with advertising networks. Because we only set cookies that are strictly necessary for the Platform to work, no cookie consent banner is displayed.
2. Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Platform to function. They cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Supabase authentication session and refresh token | Session / 1 hour, refreshed |
| sb-*-auth-token-code-verifier | Secures the magic-link sign-in exchange (PKCE) | Sign-in flow only |
Functional Cookies
These cookies remember interface preferences. They are set by the Platform itself and are not used for analytics or advertising.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| sidebar_state | Remembers whether the chat sidebar is expanded or collapsed | 7 days |
Analytics — No Cookies
We measure aggregate audience figures, but we do so without cookies and without any identifier that could follow you across days or across websites:
- Our own measurement counts a visit as a one-way hash of your IP address and browser user agent, combined with a server secret that rotates every calendar day. Your IP address is never stored, and because the salt changes daily, the same visitor cannot be recognised again on a later day.
- Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights are used for page view counts and performance metrics. Both are cookie-free and collect no personal data.
To measure how long a single visit lasts, we keep a random session identifier in your browser's sessionStorage. It is not a cookie, is never sent to third parties, and is discarded by your browser the moment you close the tab.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Our payment processor may set cookies when you initiate a purchase. These cookies are governed by the payment processor's own cookie and privacy policies. We do not control third-party cookies and recommend reviewing their respective policies.
4. Managing Cookies
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View what cookies are stored on your device;
- Delete individual or all cookies;
- Block all or specific cookies;
- Set preferences for specific websites.
Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent the Platform from functioning correctly, particularly authentication and session management.
5. Local Storage
In addition to cookies, the Platform stores a small amount of data in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device except where needed to continue your own session, and it is not used for advertising or profiling:
- drlidia_age_confirmed — remembers that you confirmed being 18 or older, so the confirmation is not requested on every visit;
- drlidia_anon_user_id — keeps your free trial conversation available before you create an account. It is deleted once an account is created.
Local storage functions similarly to cookies but is stored differently in your browser. You can clear it at any time through your browser's site data settings; the same management principles apply.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
